Mended avocado

Part of the Mended Produce series, a sewer's response to objects torn asunder and in seeming need of repair. (And yes, an avocado is indeed a fruit.)

    cool, did you pre-poke the holes before stiching in the constellations and suturing the 2 halves together?
    maybe because of the shape? reminds me of jeweled Easter eggs,
    a couple of years ago I started blowing out the contents of egg before painting and decoupaging them, because kids wanted to keep them forever

      No pre-poking of holes, just went ahead and stitched. And others have remarked on the similarity to a jeweled egg, which wasn't intended but just turned out that way.
