Seeds are phenomenal little sculptures made by nature to solve a creative problem. I've collected seeds all over the world and here is a small fraction of my collection. In my late teens I studied under Brother Shimo, a natural wood and stone artist in Japan, who had a little studio in the woods with shelves displaying seeds that friends and students had sent him from around the world. Guess it made an impression.
