Poetry Vest

Click on picture for a larger image.

Designed for a ten-day wilderness canoe trip in northern British Columbia, this wind-powered poetry vest is durable enough to have survived a tumble down a thirty-foot waterfall (sans occupant). A set of additional cards are supplied in a small inset pocket.

As the wind blows the two-sided word cards twirl, creating new verse:

lemon mouse feather
velvet mango umbrella
furry dinosaur fish
electric sandpaper sunset

A late addition to the design, a Virgin of Guadalupe clasp, added as insurance against future wilderness misadventures.
